Hornet film festival is an event currently held at the prestigious The Bedford Pub in Balham. This well know live music and comedy venue is being used to host our festival night, where people can view 10 short films of various genres and lengths and then vote for their best film of the night.

The purpose of the festival is three fold, firstly it is a way of creating a platform for the great work that is being produced all over the world and giving these films a financially viable event in which to have their films screened for live audiences. The platform also allows the films that our company and its partners make to start to develop an understanding of how their work translates to a live audience and possibly create a buzz around their film in order to develop a festival formula. 

Lastly, and most importantly it is to give audiences of film lovers the chance to have a more interesting experience than the regular high street odeon by allowing them the chance to sit and have food and drinks at a table, to anonymously vote for their favourite film of the night and to take part in the social meet and greet after the show.
